Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2026 | Last Updated: 14 October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Radioage. This Privacy Policy explains how Adyantic Studio ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application ("Radioage" or "the App").

Radioage does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

A. Precise Location Data (GPS)

If you choose to enable the "Stations Near You" feature, Radioage will ask for your permission to access your device's precise location (GPS coordinates).

B. Approximate Location Data (IP Address)

When you launch Radioage, or return to the app after it has been in the background, Radioage uses third-party services (GeoJS and, if necessary, Cloudflare) to determine your approximate country based on your public IP address.

This country information is used to set or maintain your country selection and, where applicable, to apply geographic restrictions required for licensing of radio stations. Radioage does not receive or store your precise physical location from this process.

C. Local App Data

Radioage stores certain app preferences locally on your device. This includes:

How it is protected: This information is stored locally on your device using the app's local storage. Radioage does not maintain a server-side database containing these preferences or app state.

Diagnostic reports: The Sentry SDK may temporarily store diagnostic reports on your device until they can be sent, for example when your device is offline. It may also create a random installation identifier for its own operation; Radioage applies safeguards intended to remove this identifier from diagnostic events.

D. Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a Radioage PRO subscription, the transaction is processed by the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and subscription information is managed through RevenueCat.

E. Crash Reporting and Diagnostic Information

Radioage uses Sentry, a third-party crash reporting and error monitoring service provided by Functional Software, Inc., to help us identify, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical errors. Diagnostic information is sent automatically when the app encounters a reportable crash or error.

What may be collected: Diagnostic events may include error messages and stack traces; app version and build information; device and operating-system information such as device model and manufacturer, OS version, language or locale, time zone, memory and storage status, screen information, and whether the device appears to be rooted or jailbroken; and breadcrumbs, which are short records of activity before an error. Breadcrumbs may include screen and app lifecycle changes, touch interactions (which on-screen element was tapped, not text you enter), network details such as connection type, connectivity status and whether a VPN is active, and system events such as low battery. The information included depends on the event and platform.

What is not intended to be included: Radioage is configured not to attach your name, email address, account or purchase identifiers, RevenueCat identifiers, radio station or stream URLs, or search text to Sentry diagnostic events. Sentry Replay is not enabled, and Radioage does not intentionally collect screenshots, screen recordings, or audio through Sentry.

Privacy safeguards: Radioage applies safeguards intended to remove certain user and device identifiers from diagnostic events. We configure Sentry not to store IP addresses and to remove approximate geographic fields from incoming events. An IP address may still be processed during network communication. Identifier removal in the app has been verified for JavaScript errors; native crash reports have not yet been fully tested. Diagnostic events are used for troubleshooting and app stability, not advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.

Processing and retention: Sentry processes diagnostic information on our behalf. Our Sentry organisation is configured to store data in the United States. Error events are retained for up to 90 days (30 days if our account is on Sentry's free plan). Radioage currently does not store Sentry crash-report attachments. Retention and service features may change if our Sentry plan changes. For more information, see Sentry's Privacy Policy and Sentry's data retention documentation.

3. Third-Party Services

Radioage uses the following third-party services to provide app functionality. Depending on how a service is accessed, these services or other third-party servers may receive information such as your IP address as part of normal network requests.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies describing how they handle information received through their services. Radioage does not control the privacy practices of third-party station, broadcaster, geocoding, network, or content-hosting services.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Radioage does not sell or rent your personal information.

Radioage does not require an account and does not intentionally collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Limited information may nevertheless be transmitted to third-party service providers when necessary to provide app functionality. This includes:

Radioage does not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.

5. Data Retention

Radioage does not maintain a server-side database of your app preferences, favorites, themes, language settings, regional app state, or playback state.

Information stored locally by Radioage remains on your device until you delete it by removing the app or clearing its local data. This includes preferences, favorites, regional app state, last-used station information, and certain interface state. RevenueCat's anonymous App User ID and cached subscription information are stored separately by RevenueCat's SDK and are handled according to RevenueCat's applicable privacy practices.

Subscription and purchase information processed by RevenueCat is retained and managed by RevenueCat according to its applicable privacy policy and service terms.

Sentry diagnostic event retention is described in Section 2.E. Radioage currently does not store Sentry crash-report attachments.

6. Your Choices, Requests, and International Transfers
